This gorgeous Mooncake cleansing bar is all you need for your efficient and eco-friendly skincare-routine: Our gentle, soap-free foaming cleanser is made of coconut-based surfactants, luxurious plant oils, bio-actives, extracts and butters. It rinses away without residue, leaving your skin clean, soft and moisturised, without feeling stripped or tight.

The Mooncake bars come in two variants:

- NO. 01 for dry to normal skin types
- NO. 02 for oilier, more breakout-prone skin types/moods

Both are preserved with a natural preservation system.

KEY INGREDIENTS

MOONCAKE NO. 01 | for normal to dry skin types/days

Our orange Mooncake is formulated with the goodness of oleic-acid-rich Japanese Camellia oil aka Tsubaki oil. It contains Watermelon seed oil and Sea Buckthorn extract that are packed with antioxidants, protecting your skin cells from damage, improve skin texture and appearance. It is further enriched with Red Dragonfruit extract, boasting Vitamin C for an added radiant glow, and Curcumin extract, renowned for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Designed for all skin types, Mooncake No. 01 shines on drier skin days and proves especially beneficial for more mature skin.

It is infused with a gentle, sweet floral fragrance derived from a blend of Ylang Ylang, Sweet Orange, and Cedarwood Essential oils.

 

MOONCAKE NO. 02 | for blemish-prone skin types/days

Our green Mooncake features a blend of Prickly Pear, Cucumber seed oil, and Black cumin extract, all rich in Linoleic acid (Omega 6). Linoleic acid plays a key role in controlling breakouts, as low natural levels are associated with blemish-prone skin. Tamanu oil, Green Tea and Curcumin extract add anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal qualities to the cleanser.

Paired with the astringent properties of Witch Hazel, known for its ability in reducing redness and soothing irritation, Mooncake NO.02 is a go-to cocktail in controlling excessive sebum production and enhancing the appearance of pores.

No.02 is only subtly scented with calming Blue Tansy and bergaptene-free Bergamot essential oils, providing a hint of citrusy-herbaceous freshness.

 

Please note: Our Mooncake cleansers are crafted in small batches by Dewy by Nature with lots of love and passion. The cleansing bars, which contain oils and butters, may show some inconsistencies in their pattern due to transit and temperature changes. Please allow for some minor flaws in the design.

HOW TO USE

Wet the bar and your face. Rub the bar between your hands to create lather and apply lather to your face, or apply bar directly to face. Massage in and rinse, or, if you are not in a rush, use as a mask and leave it for a couple of minutes on the face before rinsing.

HOW TO STORE

Between uses make sure your cleanser does not sit on a wet surface.
